Meet our new class pets

Meet our new class pets, Shelly and Myrtle. Shelly is the wild and crazy photogenic one.  Myrtle is a little camera shy.  She likes to hide under the rock! We've rescued a 3rd turtle since I made this post... Franklin.  His family gave him up because the grandchild wasn't interested in him.  Shelly and Myrtle welcomed Franklin with open flippers.

Can't believe it's almost over!

I cannot believe my summer is over! I'm sitting here finding every way possible to get out of going to work in my classroom! Still have soooo much to do!! That last minute trip to the beach this week may have been a mistake! Naaahhh.. had a blast!

Rain, rain, go AWAY!!!!!

So sick of this rain! Landscapers came today, yanked out 4 out of 20 shrubs before the downpour came! Going to try again tomorrow! :(

Have to settle for TVD Rerun!

So sad season 2 of The Vampire Diaries ended last week! Will have to settle for rerun tonight I guess. Oh well... Better than no Damon at all! LOL!

Is it Spring Break yet?

Been working my tail off on this wedding shower for my niece. Should be a blast today! I am so ready for Spring Break! Gonna relax on the beach, catch up on some reading, and of course some shopping too!
